I used to install dish and I can tell you the basics are not all that difficult. Once the dish system is installed, most problems come from the dish getting knocked out of alignment or bad connections in the lines. Most wall plates and barrels made for cable will burn out after sat signal is passed through them for a while. A signal meter is a God send when trying to get the dish signal peaked.

I have a antenna problem that needs a repairman. Several calls over the past two months have gotten no results. My wife and I are 75 years old and she has alzhieners. The account is in her name and Disk will not let me ask for assistance in getting repairs. They were very rude in saying that she must speak to them over the phone to authorize this repair. I am now fed up with the service of Dish. I will switch to another service that treat their customers better. Robert Banks - Columbia, SC
