How to make play-doh

This is a great project to involve your kids in. It's simple and fun.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tarter
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • food coloring (optional)

Instructions

    • 1

      Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. (Omit food coloring if you are planning to make multiple colors)

    • 2

      Set burner to medium heat and stir constantly until playdough forms a ball.

    • 3

      Remove from heat.

    • 4

      If multiple colors are desired, divide dough and knead food coloring into each portion. Enjoy!
