How to Make Easy Veal Parmesan

A less complicated version of the original.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 5 veal loin chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 5 slices mozarella
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 8-oz can seasoned tomato sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon crushed oregano
  • skillet

Step1
Mix crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, paprika, and pepper.
Step2
Dip chops in egg, and then in brumb misture. Brown on both sides in hot oil.
Step3
Once all chops have been browned, arrange in bottom of skillet and place a slice of mozarella on top of each chop.
Step4
Mix tomato sauce and garlic and pour over chops. Sprinkle with oregano.
Step5
Cover and simmer 50 minutes or until meat is done. Add a tab;es[ppm pr sp pf water of needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Round steak may be substituted for the veal.
