This is a great recipe that I enjoy making on camping trips. It is simple and the kids will love eating it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Egg
  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula
  • Oven Burner/camp stove
  • A drinking glass w/ a 4 in. diameter.
  1. Step 1

Set your burner to medium heat and place your frying pan on the burner. Add a dab of butter to the pan.

  2. Step 2

Now butter one side of a piece of bread.

  3. Step 3

With butter side up take your glass drinking side down and press it in the center of your toast to cut a perfect circle in the center.

  4. Step 4

Once the burner is warm, drop your bread butter side down in the frying pan.

  5. Step 5

Take your egg and crack it open over the bread to fill the whole.

  6. Step 6

When you can get the spatula under the egg without breaking white of the egg flip it over and heat until the whites of the egg are fully cooked.

  7. Step 7

When the whites of the egg are done. Place on a plate and serve.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a glass of orange juice and slices of apple to compliment the meal.
  • Do the world a favor and use organic eggs from cage free hens.

on 7/3/2008 umm yeah organic eggs from cage free hens do not help the world rather they raise the cost of production for an egg and the space neede for chickens and therefore lead to more land being used for chickens than other agriculture and the higher price leds itself to world hunger so apparently you hate africa if you eat organic
