Corn on the cob is a delightful summer treat. However, if you don't want to spend time away from your guests, or simply want to try a new way of cooking corn on the cob, use your oven.   • Foil
  • Butter
  • Seasoning
  • Non-stick cooking spray (optional)

      Lay out enough foil to wrap around an ear of corn and spread butter on it. Avoid the butter if you're watching your calories by using non-stick cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

      Peel the husk and silk from an ear of corn.

      Sprinkle seasoning over the corn. Seasoned salt enhances the flavor, chili powder provides a nice kick and paprika imparts a smoky flavor.

      Wrap the corn with the prepared foil.

      Bake the corn for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on size. When the center of the cob is soft when pressed, the corn is done.
