How to find out if you have a network card in your PC and what type it is? You may acquire a PC that you do not know if it has a Network card or you need to know what type of network card is installed in it. The steps bellow as well as the screen shot will show you how to find this information.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Windows PC

Step1
Go to your Windows desktop and “right click” on [My Computer] and Click on [Properties] from the drop down dialog.
Step2
Once you are in the [Systems Properties] box, “click” on the [Hardware] ‘tab’.
Step3
On the [Hardware] ‘tab’ “click on the [Device Manager] ‘button’.
Step4
In the [Device Manager] dialog screen, “expand” the [Network Adapters] device from the list (it will be a Green icon)
Step5
Under the [Network Adapters] category, you will see if you have a network card and the model number will appear.
