How to Get Married in Maui

Called the Valley Isle, Maui is one of the most popular places to get married in Hawaii. With its plethora of beachfront resorts, beautiful tropical gardens and views of the Kaanapali coastline, Maui is one of the world's most romantic spots.

  2. Step 2

    Log onto the Maui Wedding Association web site at www.mauiweddingassociation.com/ for links to wedding planning information. Fill out a form on the site and you will be mailed a free Maui Wedding Planner.

  3. Step 3

    Hire a wedding planner if you can afford it. It will make your job much easier, especially if you live off the island and will be planning long-distance.

  4. Step 4

    Choose a venue for your wedding. Popular Maui wedding spots include Hamoa Beach, Maui Tropical Plantation, the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, Makena Cove, Wailea Rock Point, Kamaole Beach Park, Lava Point, Kapalua Bay Beach, the Kula Botanical Gardens, the Tropical Gardens of Maui, the Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens, the Oluwalu Plantation Estate, the Keawakapu Estate, and several Maui wedding chapels. Your wedding planner can provide information on these and other sites, including cost.

  5. Step 5

    Get a marriage license. In Maui, call (808) 984-8210 for license information.
