You can use hatches to simulate an ink drawing in Adobe Illustrator. These instructions apply to Adobe Illustrator 8. Procedures for other versions may vary.

• Adobe Illustrator

1. Create an object or place an image file.

2. Select the object with the selection tool.

3. From the Filter menu, select Pen and Ink, then Hatch. The selected object changes to resemble a pen and ink drawing.
