Car washes, bake sales, pizza parties, formal dinners, ... . There are thousands of fundraising possibilities out there. Here are some tips on how to start collecting ideas for your organization or club.

  • File Cabinets
  • Internet Access
  • File Folders
  • Notebooks
  • Paper And Pencils
  • Computers

Step1
Collect existing fundraising information from your organization.
Step2
Collect fundraising brochures from various local retailers. Keep them in a notebook for easy reference.
Step3
Call the leaders of local organizations such as the Parent and Teacher Association, Boy Scouts, Little League and Rotary. Ask them for fundraising ideas.
Step4
Visit your local library. Ask whether they keep fundraising information on hand.
Step5
Ask friends and co-workers for fundraising information and ideas.
Step6
Conduct a brainstorming session with your organization's leaders. Write down any creative, original ideas that are suggested. Remember, the more unique the idea, the more attention your fundraising event will get.
Step7
Look up fundraising ideas on the Internet. Enter "fundraising" into your Internet search engine, and you'll get lots of information. Fund-raising.com is a good place to start.
