Fed up with making it up as you go along? If the rules to your board game disappeared long ago, send for new ones and get with the program.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Call or write to the manufacturer of the game.

  2. Step 2

    Specify which game you want directions for and which edition of the game you own.

  3. Step 3

    Be sure to ask if there is a charge.

  4. Step 4

    Check the company Web sites. Some have order forms and/or contact information.

  5. Step 5

    Order rules for games from Avalon Hill, Hasbro, Milton Bradley, and Parker Brothers at Hasbro.com.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try Discover Games' bulletin board (see p074.ezboard.com/bdiscovergames) and online auction sites such as eBay for instructions to board games that are out of print.
