How to Change Text Color in PageMaker

Change the text color in your Adobe PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5 documents to make specific words stand out. Make sure that your output device can print color!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
  • PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)
  1. Step 1

    Select the text whose color you want to change.

  2. Step 2

    Go to the Type menu and select Character.

  3. Step 3

    Change the color to whatever you like.

  4. Step 4

    Click OK.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use color sparingly - it is difficult to read on screen and on the printed page. Restrict it to titles or other display text.

on 1/12/2008 My version of Pagemaker 6.0 does not offer a selection of "Character" in the Type menu.
Please advise.
