How to Arrange Objects on a Page in PageMaker

PageMaker places objects in a stacking order as you create them (if you add text, then a picture, then a rule, the rule will appear on top of the picture, which appears on top of the text). PageMaker 6.0 and 6.5 let you rearrange the stacking order of objects on a page.

• PageMaker 6.5 (Mac OS)
• PageMaker 6.5 (Windows)

1. Select an object toward the rear of the stack.

2. Go to the Element menu and select Arrange.

3. Select Bring to Front to move an object to the top of the stack.

4. Select Send to Back to move an object to the bottom of the stack.

5. Select Bring Forward or Send Backward to move an object forward or backward past only one item in the stack, instead of the entire stack.
