  • 2 oz gin
  • 4 oz Berry La Croix
  • shaker

Vanilla bean simple syrup

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 vanilla bean
  • Small saucepan

Step 1: Make vanilla bean simple syrup

Add the water and the sugar to a saucepan and set over medium-hight heat. Remove the seeds from the vanilla bean and add them to the saucepan along with the pod. Allow the syrup to cool completely before transferring, along with the vanilla bean, to a clean, sealable container.

Step 2: Shake up the ingredients

Place the blackberries into the shaker and muddle. Add the vanilla bean simply syrup, gin, and a handful of ice. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.

Step 3: Strain and serve

Strain the contents into a glass filled with ice, and top off with 4 oz of the Berry La Croix. Garnish drink with some fresh blackberries and enjoy!
