How to Pick Your Own Music on "GT" on the PSP

Save

If you don't like the background music in "Gran Turismo," you can add your own songs to the game with a custom soundtrack. This option only unlocks after you complete the first Challenge Block missions. To set up a soundtrack, you'll need to connect your PSP to a computer and transfer MP3 files to the system's memory stick. Your music will only play during races and replays.

Things You'll Need

  • USB cable
  • Complete all the missions in Challenge Block A with a bronze score or better. Challenge Block A tests your braking skills on different types of tracks. Custom soundtracks unlock once you complete the last challenge.

  • Connect the PSP console to your computer with a USB cable.

  • Press "Windows-E" to open the Computer window. Double-click the PSP icon, listed under Devices with Removable Storage.

  • Locate the MUSIC folder on your PSP. If you don't have this folder, right-click in the right window and select "New Folder." Name the folder "MUSIC."

  • Copy MP3s into the MUSIC folder in the order you want the songs to play. Disconnect the PSP from your computer.

  • Start "Gran Turismo" and select "Options."

  • Select "Audio Settings" and "Set User BGM."

  • Select the "MUSIC" folder, and then select "Save."

  • Start any race to hear your custom soundtrack.

Tips & Warnings
