After hours of adventuring in "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim," your character's appearance may start to feel a bit boring and stale. If you have the Dawnguard expansion pack, you can change your character's looks with the help of the face sculptor, Galathil. Galathil lives in the Riften sewers as a member of the Thieves Guild. She can't change your race or gender, and she won't work with you if you're a vampire.
Things You'll Need
- Dawnguard expansion
Open your map and fast travel to Riften.
Enter the graveyard and access the Ragged Flagon via the hidden entrance in the mausoleum. If you haven't accessed the Ragged Flagon yet, you can't use the hidden door. Instead, go down to the docks and enter the door marked "The Ratway." Follow the path to find the Ragged Flagon entrance.
Find Galathil sitting on a bench in the bar area. Ask Galathil about her face-sculpting skills.
Say "Yes, I'd like you to change my appearance." Galathil will take 1,000 gold from you, and the character creation menu opens.
Change anything about your character's appearance except his gender or race. You can alter eye color, skin tone, weight, scars, facial hair, tattoos and other adornments.
Close the creation menu when you're done making changes.
Tips & Warnings
- To cure vampirism, bring a filled Black Soul Gem to Falion in the town of Morthal. Alternatively, join the Companions guild and become a werewolf.
- You must have the Dawnguard expansion to change your appearance.
