How to Change the Oil on Kazuma Falcon 110 ATV
The Falcon 110 is a small all-terrain vehicle produced by Kazuma, a Chinese motorsports manufacturer. The Falcon 110 is powered by a 110 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that can propel the ATV to a maximum speed of 28 mph, which, along with its relatively small size, makes it an ideal ATV for younger riders. The engine requires little maintenance beyond regular oil changes. This being said, the first oil change should be performed after riding the ATV for 30 minutes, with subsequent oil changes every 10 to 15 hours of continuous use.
Things You'll Need
- 17 mm socket
- Socket wrench
- Oil catch pan
- Shop towels
- Torque wrench
- One quart, SAE 10W-40 motorcycle-grade engine oil
Instructions
-
-
1
Park the ATV on a well-ventilated, level work area. Start the engine and let it warm up for three minutes, then stop the engine. Let the engine oil settle for five minutes.
-
2
Unscrew the oil cap from the right side of the engine, located just above the right foot board.
-
-
3
Unscrew the oil drain plug from the bottom of the engine using a 17 mm socket and a socket wrench. Let the engine oil drain into an oil catch pan for 10 minutes or until the oil flow reduces to a drip. Wipe the engine drain hole with a shop towel.
-
4
Clean the drain plug's magnetic tip and threads with a shop towel. Screw the drain plug into the engine by hand, then tighten the plug to 18 foot-pounds using a torque wrench.
-
5
Place a funnel into the filler neck on the right side of the engine. Pour one quart of SAE 10W-40 motorcycle-grade engine oil into the engine, then remove the funnel and wipe away any spilled oil with a shop towel. Screw the oil cap into the filler neck.
-
6
Start the engine and let the fresh oil warm for three minutes, then stop the engine and let the oil settle for another five minutes.
-
7
Unscrew the oil cap and wipe the cap's dipstick clean with a shop towel. Insert the dipstick into the engine until the cap threads touch the top of the filler neck. Pull the dipstick out and take note of the oil level in relation to the upper and lower marks on the dipstick's tip. Ideally, the oil level should be just below the upper mark. Add one to two ounces of oil into the engine to raise the oil level as needed. Clean the dipstick and screw the oil cap into place.

Tips & Warnings
Do not use an automotive-grade engine oil in your Kazuma ATV. Automotive oil contains friction modifying additives that will cause your ATV's clutch to slip.
Used engine oil contains heavy metals and toxic contaminants. The oil must be taken to an oil recycling facility for disposal. Do not empty the used oil into a drain or trash can.
Use a resealable oil catch pan to contain the used engine oil until it can be disposed of properly. Never leave the oil in an open container within the reach of a child or animal.
