How to Convert AVCHD Lite to Stream to TV
The AVCHD Lite format is a subset of the AVCHD video format used with a number of video cameras. Many streaming applications are unable to stream files in this format, forcing you to convert the AVCHD Lite files if you want to stream them to your television. There are a number of programs that will allow you to convert AVCHD Lite files into the streamable MP4 format, regardless of the operating system you use.

Open a Web browser and navigate to Avchdconverter.org. Click the "Free Download" link to download the install file. Double-click the install file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the program.

Double-click the "iSkySoft Video Converter" program icon to launch the program. Click the "Add Files" button, locate the AVCHD Lite file that you want to convert and double-click the file to add it to the program.

Click the arrow to the right of the "Format" heading and select the "MP4" option from the drop-down menu. Click the "Convert" button to convert the file into MP4 format.

Open a Web browser and navigate to Handbrake.fr. Click the "Download" option, followed by the download link for your operating system to download the install file. Double-click the install file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the program.

Double-click the "Handbrake" program icon to launch the program. Click the "Source" button and double-click the AVCHD lite file that you want to convert to add it to the program.

Click the arrow to the right of the "Format" heading and select the "MP4 File" option. Click the "Start" button to convert the file into MP4 format.
