Unfortunately, wrinkles are a part of aging and life in general. Wrinkles around the eye area can be especially aggravating, whether it's crow's-feet or lines that gather directly underneath the eyes. Eye creams sold in department stores and boutiques often come along with a hefty price tag. Thankfully, there are some homemade remedies that you can make yourself, and you probably already have most of the ingredients right in your kitchen.

Things You'll Need

  • Petroleum jelly
  • Cocoa butter
  • Coconut oil
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Fresh cucumber juice
  • Cornstarch
  • Witch hazel
  • Jojoba oil
  • Chamomile essential oil
  • Rose essential oil

Heat 2 tablespoons of each -- petroleum jelly, cocoa butter and coconut oil -- in the microwave at 15-second intervals until it is thoroughly mixed. Pour into a glass jar and let the mixture cool. Apply nightly around the eye area.

Mix 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel, 1 teaspoon fresh cucumber juice and 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch. Heat in a pan on the stove or in the microwave until boiling, about one minute. Add 1 tablespoon witch hazel and allow the mixture to cool. It should look like a clear jelly that you can spoon into a jar. Pat a small amount under your eyes and be careful not to rub or pull the delicate skin under your eyes.

Combine 1 ounce of jojoba oil, five drops of chamomile essential oil and five drops of rose essential oil, and store in a glass bottle with a dropper top. Apply one drop of the oil to the pad of your finger and gently smooth the oil beneath your eye. Do not apply oil directly to your eyelids.
