How to Get Your Mustache to Twist
Most long mustaches are twisted into shape with the help of mustache wax or pomade. While the handlebar is the most notorious of the twisted mustaches, your choice of grooming style is only limited by your imagination and the length of your mustache. According to the Park and Bond website, prospective mustache groomers often have to suffer through an awkward growing stage, where your mustache will be too short to work with. For best results, adopt a daily practice of combing, clipping and waxing to ensure a well-groomed twist that survives the day. Does this Spark an idea?

Comb your mustache so that it forms two ordered lines on either side of your upper lip. Use tweezers or small scissors to pluck or cut loose hairs or stragglers that don’t comply.
-
2
Trim the bottom layer of your mustache using a pair of small scissors to ensure that it stays above the lip. Cut any hairs that travel past the demarcation line of your upper lip.

Rub 1 teaspoon of mustache wax between your thumb and pointer finger to soften it and apply it evenly into your mustache. Start in the center and gradually work outwards, twisting your mustache as you go. Continue adding wax until the entire length of your mustache has been twisted.

Correct your mustache for symmetry in the mirror to make sure both sides are equally twisted. Finish the edges by rubbing your thumb, pointer and middle fingers in a clockwise fashion to form an upward or downward point as desired.
