How to Change the Search Engine From SpeedBit to Google
When you install one of SPEEDbit's programs, the installation process may change your browser's default search engine to SPEEDbit's customized search engine. If you want to set Google as the default search engine, you can make the change without needing to remove your SPEEDbit software. SPEEDbit offers a free utility that can automatically change your default search engine and homepage back to Google, and it makes the change to all affected browsers.

Launch a Web browser and navigate to the SPEEDbit.com/faq website. Click the "How Can I Remove SPEEDbit Search From My Computer?" link in the FAQ list. Click the "Restore Browser Defaults Utility" link within the paragraph that appears. Click "Save" when your browser prompts you to download the file.

Close all of your Web browsers before you proceed to launch the utility.

Double-click the downloaded ZIP file to view its included files. Double-click "RestoreBrowserSettings.exe" to automatically remove SpeedBit as the default search engine and home page. Click "OK" after the utility alerts you that the process has completed.

Tips & Warnings
If you uninstall and reinstall SPEEDbit in the future, the process may change your browser's default search engine from Google back to SPEEDbit again.
