How to Download Music to an Animoto

Animoto is a website that allows you to create slideshows and save them as video files. Among other editing tools, Animoto offers you the ability to add audio tracks to your videos. You can add music to an Animoto video by either uploading your own MP3 audio file or by selecting an existing track from Animoto's music library.

Instructions

Uploading MP3s

1. Visit the animoto.com website in your browser and log in to the service.

2. Click on "Create video" if you wish to create a new slideshow or "My videos" to edit an existing project.

3. Click on the "Choose Music" tab in the left-hand column. Click "Upload" and use the file browser to select the MP3 file on your computer. Click on "Open" and wait for your browser to finish uploading the audio file. You can continue editing your video or finalize it by clicking "Create."

Selecting From Catalog

1. Load the animoto.com website in your Web browser and log in to it with your user name and password.

2. Click on "My Videos" to select a video you've already created or click "Create Video" to create a new one.

3. Click on the "Choose Music" tab. Select the music category you would like to select a track from.

4. Click on tracks to preview them. Once you have found a suitable track, click "Add to Video."

Tips & Warnings

• Tracks uploaded to Animoto must be shorter than 10 minutes and their file sizes must be smaller than 10MB.
