How to Sync MapQuest
The Ford SYNC enables drivers to operate Bluetooth-compatible mobile devices, portable music players, radio controls and other functions through voice commands. Along with its existing capabilities, SYNC can also emulate a GPS and download directions and maps from MapQuest. Transferring data from MapQuest to SYNC requires just a few mouse clicks; all you need to send the data to your Ford SYNC is your mobile number.

Navigate to MapQuest and create a new driving or walking route. Select Send from the toolbar.

Click Car. Select SYNC from the options, and then enter your SYNC mobile number into the appropriate field.

Create a name for the map, if desired, and then click "Send" to connect MapQuest with SYNC.

Press the "Voice" button on the touchscreen. Say, "Services." Say, "Yes," when prompted, to download the MapQuest map to SYNC.
