They keep your feet and lower legs comfortable in cold and wet weather, while adding a touch of originality to practically any outfit. UGG boots are built to last, even if you wear them frequently in unpleasant weather. You can easily restore a soaked pair of UGG boots to near-new condition, but you do need to let them dry overnight or longer. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Take off your boots. Stuff them with newspaper, from the inside of the toe up to the shaft of the boot.
-
2
Blot the surface of your boots dry with soft, clean cloths or paper towels. Remove as much water as possible.
-
-
3
Allow the boots to air-dry for 24 to 48 hours at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight or near a radiator, heating duct, oven or other source of heat.
-
4
Spray a sheepskin protector solution evenly onto the surface of your boots. This is especially important if you have not done so before, but it can also help renew a prior application. Spray until the boots are wet but not saturated, and allow them to dry again at room temperature for 24 hours.
-
5
Brush the surface of your suede UGG boots, in one direction only. Do not brush knit, printed, sequined or smooth leather UGG boots.
-
6
Remove the newspaper, and wear your UGG boots again as usual. Repeat the drying process any time they become saturated.

Tips & Warnings
Never allow your UGG boots to dry in direct sunlight or extreme heat. They will dry out and shrink, and the finish will be damaged.
