Instructions

    • 1

Clean your face thoroughly before applying makeup. If your facial redness is caused by rosacea, use dermatologist-approved cleansers and moisturizer to care for your skin. Starting with cleansed skin prevents oil and buildup within the pores.

    • 2

Spread a thin layer of green-tinted primer over the entire face. Green-tinted primers and concealer counteract the redness in the face to even out skin tones. Primer formulas smooth out the skin’s appearance, which helps foundation to go on flawlessly and last for long periods of time.

    • 3

Apply foundation to your face. You may either add a few drops of foundation to a dampened cosmetic sponge, or squeeze a small amount of foundation to the back of your hand and apply the makeup to your face with a foundation brush. Begin applying the foundation to the cheeks first, then work your way up and out over the face. Be sure to blend the foundation into the skin, especially around the hairline and jaw line.

    • 4

Pat a green-tinted concealer around areas that need extra coverage, including the cheekbones, around the nose or around the mouth and chin. Using your ring finger or concealer brush, tap the concealer on necessary areas over the foundation. Avoid pulling on the delicate facial skin when you apply concealer to prevent further irritation.
