What Are Some Things to Ask a Guy to See if He Likes You?

It's not always easy to figure out if a guy is interested in you. He may seem keen one day, then play it cool the next time you're together. Perhaps you are already friends, and you're wondering whether it's a good idea to take it to the next level. You may be able to work out whether a guy likes you by asking a few subtle -- and not so subtle -- questions.

"Are You Free This Weekend?"

If a guy is interested in you, he'll always be available to spend time with you, and willing to change his plans at the last minute so that he can see you. Even the most causal questions about his weekend plans may result in an enthusiastic response. A guy who likes you will try to spend time with you, says relationship columnist Amy Chan in the article, "The One Way to Find Out if Someone Likes You," for the "Huffington Post."

"Can I Tell You Something?"

A guy who likes you will really listen to what you have to say. Men love to talk about themselves, says Matt Titus in the article, "10 Signs He Is Interested in You," for "Marie Claire." Try getting a guy's attention when he's in a busy bar, surrounded by his friends. If he becomes engrossed in your conversation, maintains eye contact and acts oblivious to everything else going on around him, you can be sure he's into you.

"Fancy a Shopping Trip?"

Most men don't typically enjoy female pursuits such as spending hours in the shopping mall or watching the latest chick flick at the movies. If you ask a guy to spend time with you doing something you enjoy -- when you know, deep down he'd rather be watching sport or playing video games -- and he jumps at the chance, you can be pretty confident he's keen on you, according to Titus.

"Do You Like Me?"

Sometimes, it pays to be upfront. The best question to ask a guy to find out if he likes you, may be "Do you like me?" Hopefully, his answer is "yes" and you can move forward with your relationship. If not, at least you know and you can move on and find the right guy for you.
