How to Remove Picture Links on Tumblr
With a Tumblr page, users can microblog items, such as links, pictures, videos and music. You can follow other Tumblr blogs and your blog can be followed by others, allowing users to share interesting content from across the Web. When you add a photo to your Tumblr page, you have the option of including a link, which allows others to click through the image to be taken to an external Web page. You can remove this picture link to create a simple stand-alone image.

Log in to your Tumblr account and select your blog from the top of the screen.

Find the image for which you want to remove the link and click the “Edit” button within the image box.

Delete the URL under the “Clicking this photo links to the URL:” box.

Click the “Save changes” button at the bottom of the screen. The picture link is removed so a click on the picture does not link to another page.
