Mirror Disco Ball
-
1
Find an old sports ball that you no longer need, like a volleyball, soccer ball or basketball. If you don't have any of these, you can use a styrofoam ball instead.
-
2
Place your bathroom mirror in a paper grocery bag. Set that paper bag in a second paper bag. Hammer the bag until the mirror breaks into smaller pieces.
-
-
3
Wipe silicone glass glue on the bottom of each piece of mirror, and stick it to the ball. Continue until the entire ball is covered in mirror pieces, keeping the pieces as close together as possible during construction.
-
4
Set the homemade disco ball aside until the glue dries. This may take up to three hours.
Mirror Snowman Ornament
-
5
Cut six circles from the old bathroom mirror with a glass cutter. You should have two large, two medium and two small circles.
-
6
Lay a large, medium and small circle mirror side down so that it forms a snowman shape. Place a glue dot in the center of each circle.
-
7
Place a piece of string down the center of the circles, directly over the glue dots. Make sure the string comes out the top of the small circle so that you have string to tie the ornament around the Christmas tree.
-
8
Set a glue dot in the center of each of the remaining circles. Press the remaining circles over top of the circles that have the string running through them. You must match like size circles to form your snowman.
-
9
Decorate the snowman (this is optional). Wrap a pipe cleaner between the small and middle circles for a scarf. Paint black dots on the small and middle circles to form eyes, a mouth and buttons. Copper wire can be used to create create arms for the snowman. Glue in place with a hot glue gun.
Mirror Stepping Stone
-
10
Clean an old tile so that it is dirt and dust-free. Dish soap and water is all you need for this.
-
11
Break your bathroom mirror up into small pieces by smashing them while they are inside a double bag.
-
12
Glue the mirror pieces to the old tile with silicone glass glue. Go around the outside of the tile first, and work your way inward. The mirror pieces do not need to touch, but should be fairly close together.
-
13
Set the decorated tile aside for 12 hours so the silicone glass glue dries properly.
-
14
Wipe tile grout over the mirror pieces, making sure it gets into all the cracks. Go over the mirror pieces with a damp sponge after the grout has been applied to remove any grout on the mirror pieces. Set aside to dry before displaying in the yard.

Wear gloves when working with the mirror pieces. They are sharp enough to cut through skin.
