How to Remove Lyrics From AVS Audio Editor
You can remove lyrics from an audio file by removing the vocals from the file using an audio editor, such as the AVS Audio Editor application. The AVS Audio Editor includes tools that enable the user to edit vocals out of audio files. You can download a free version of the AVS Audio Editor from AVS4You.com. In addition to editing audio files, you can use the AVS Audio Editor to record audio from your computer’s microphone or any other external source connected to the computer.

Open the audio file to edit in AVS Audio Editor. The audio file opens as layers of waves in a WAV editor.

Click on the vocal file in the workspace window.

Click the “View” option on the top navigation bar and then click “Zoom.” The focus zooms in to enlarge the WAVs in the workspace window.

Click the “Play” button and let the audio play to the point where the lyrics and vocals will be removed. Press “Pause” at the spot to edit.

Click the “Tools” option on the top navigation bar, and then click “Trim.”

Click immediately before and immediately after to section of vocals to remove. The selected clip renders in a separate file.

Press the “DEL” button on the keyboard. The Trimmed section is deleted and the vocals are removed.

Tips & Warnings
To mute all vocals in a track without removing the track from the AVS workspace, click the “M” icon in the channel strip for the track. All vocals are muted.
