How to Highlight My Eyes & Cheeks
When using makeup, it is easy to mistakenly hide your best features rather than highlight them. Combine light and dark tones to enhance, highlight and even alter your appearance. Highlighting your eyes can make your gaze striking and powerful and highlighting your cheekbones can give you a slender appearance without the diet. Does this Spark an idea?

This photo shows how to apply under eye concealer. Take a concealer that is slightly lighter than your skin tone and apply it from the inner corner of your eye, under your eye and up diagonally toward your hairline. Blend the concealer into your skin to conceal dark circles and highlight your beautiful eyes.

Apply a light-colored eye shadow, such as light pink, yellow or gold, to your brow bone directly below your eyebrows and to your eyelids as a base. Use a dark-colored eye shadow in the crease of your eyelids, reaching toward the outer corners of your eyes, for a more dramatic, nighttime look.

Wet your eye shadow applicator and dip it in dark purple shadow for green or hazel eyes, brown or gold for blues eyes and any dark-colored shadow you fancy for brown eyes. Apply the shadow as you would an eyeliner, beginning from the middle of your upper eyelash line or from the inner corner of your eye, and create a line all the way to the outer corners. Apply your favorite mascara when the shadow has dried.

Apply a small amount of the concealer that is slightly lighter than your skin tone to the lower jaw bone area and blend it into your skin. Give your face a slender appearance by applying your bronzer to the hollows of your cheeks in a diagonal, starting from below the cheekbone near your nose, to the hairline near your ears.

Apply a light pink or peach blush for light skin tones or a rosy or red blush for dark skin tones in a sweeping motion from the apples of your cheeks outward toward your hairline. Use a blush with a shimmer to really highlight your beautiful high cheekbones.
