Comb your hair thoroughly to remove tangles and dead hair. Part off the section of hair that you want to use for the bangs. Use a clip to keep the rest of the hair away from the part that you are cutting.

Separate small sections of hair. Hold a section of the hair between your index finger and middle finger. Hold the scissors downward while you snip away small bits of hair. Use the hair that was previously cut as a guide for the rest of the bang.

Move on to the other sections of the hair until you have reached to the other side of your temple. Comb through your bangs and trim away any uneven hair, then style your hair as desired.
