How to Download Games for Free on the iPad With the Web
Using a Wi-Fi connection you can download hundreds of free games for your iPad over the Web using Apple's App Store. On some iPad devices you can also access the Web and download free games using a cellular data connection. Once you download the free game from the App Store the game will automatically install on the home screen of your iPad.

Tap the "App Store" icon on your iPad.

Tap the "Categories" button.

Select the "Games" option.

Select the category that corresponds to the type of game you want to download. For example, you can select "Casino," "Educational" or "Puzzle."

Tap the "Top Free" button to display free games you can download within the selected game category. By default the App Store will list 25 games. Scroll-down and tap the "Twenty-Five More" button to display more free games.

Select the game you want to download.
