Instructions

    • 1

Create a flower for your headband. Measure a piece of fabric in the color of your choice. The length of the fabric can be between 8 to 12 inches or longer, depending on how big you want the flower. The width of the fabric should be at least 4 inches.

    • 2

Lay the fabric on a flat surface and fold it in half. Apply a thin layer of glue on one edge of the fabric. Firmly press down on the edges to glue them together.

    • 3

Roll the glued fabric into a tight bun. Hold one end of the fabric between your thumb and index finger. Continue to roll the fabric in a circular motion, making sure to twist the fabric away from the center as you are rolling it.

    • 4

Apply glue to the fabric as you roll it so that the flower will not unfold. Continue to roll the fabric until all of it is rolled into the shape of a flower.

    • 5

Take a piece of broad 3/4-inch elastic and place it around your head. Make sure that you leave an extra inch of elastic for the glue. Cut the elastic at the appropriate measurement. Apply glue to one end of the elastic, and place the other end over the glue. Apply pressure and allow it to dry. Apply some glue to the underside of the flower and place it on the desired location of the elastic to complete your headband.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose color elastic that complements your flower.
