How to Get Google Earthquake Fault Zone Maps
With Google Earth, you can view custom maps and satellite images on your computer's desktop. If you have an interest in learning about earthquakes and fault zones, you can download several maps with that information from the United States Geological Survey. You can open these maps in Google Earth.

Go to Earthquake.usgs.gov/learn.

Click "Google Earth/KML Files" to see a list of available maps. Download the one you want.

Right-click the map file you download, select "Open With" and click "Google Earth."
