How to Do the Diamond Afghan Stitch With a Crochet Hook
Crocheted items, such as afghans, sweaters, hats, scarfs and dishcloths, use the diamond stitch to add dimension and texture to the front of the crocheted pattern. The diamond stitch is created using a treble crochet stitch. The treble crochet creates a ridge on top of a single crocheted panel. The process is simple to learn when following the steps in order.
