How to Knit a Baller Band
Rubber baller bands are small and portable and are a plain color or embossed with a charity or company name. Knitting your own baller bands is simple. The stitch pattern is a tight woven stitch that won’t curl at the ends. Knit in the round on double point needles; there is no need for seaming. The bands are customizable for even the smallest wrists.
Things You'll Need

1
Cast on 47 stitches for a 6-inch wrist. The yarn knits at a gauge of eight stitches per inch and the baller band has 1 inch of ease. Add or subtract stitches for the proper size, keeping the stitch counts odd. Divide evenly over three needles and join to begin working in the round.

2
Purl two stitches together and leave the stitches on the left-hand needle. Purl the first stitch again and then drop both stitches from the left-hand needle. Repeat to the last stitch. Purl the last stitch.

3
Knit the first stitch. Slip one stitch with the yarn held to the back of the work then knit one stitch. Slip the left-hand needle into the front of the slipped stitch and knit it. Repeat all but the first knit stitch to the end of the round.

4
Repeat rounds one and two for 1 inch or the desired width of the band.
Bind off all stitches. Cut the yarn and weave in the ends on the wrong side of the piece.
