How to Do Peacock Eyeshadow

Peacock eye shadow resembles the colors and patterns of a male peacock's feathers. Peacock feather earrings and peacock designs are popular fashions, and peacock eye makeup can complete the look. This glamorous look is best for evening wear and can be easily created with the right tools.

Things You'll Need

  • Eye shadow primer
  • Peacock fake eyelashes
  • Metallic or glittery dark blue eye shadow
  • Green eye shadow
  • Light blue eye shadow
  • Blue eyeliner
  • Eye shadow brush
  • Eye shadow sponge

Step 1

Apply an eye shadow primer to your eyelids. This will prevent the shadow from smudging or cracking, and make application easier. Wait five minutes for the shadow to dry. Then sweep the green shadow on your entire eyelid and up past the crease using the shadow brush.

Step 2

Apply the light blue eye shadow to the brow bone, sweeping away from your nose using the shadow brush. Next, use the eye shadow sponge applicator to apply the metallic blue shadow to the crease of your eyelid. Angle the shadow up and out at the outer corner of your eyelid.

Step 3

Line the upper and lower corners of your lid with the eyeliner. Finally, complete the look with peacock fake eyelashes. These lashes come in a variety of colors and patterns. They may be black with tufts of feathers at the edges or colored to resemble peacock feathers. Choose the look you like the most.
