How to Get the Armor on the Cover of "Fallout: New Vegas"

"Fallout: New Vegas" is a first-person role-playing game released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game's cover art features a New California Republic Veteran Ranger -- one of the game's characters. This character's armor, the NCR Ranger combat armor, can be obtained by killing any of the NCR Veteran Rangers in combat and taking the armor as loot. These enemies can be found at any NCR-occupied location.

Instructions

1. Press the "Circle" button on the PS3, "B" button on the Xbox 360 or "Tab" on the PC to open your Pip-Boy 3000. Select the "Data" tab and then the "World Map" option to display the game's world map.

2. Locate an NCR-occupied location. The following locations are NCR occupied: Camp Golf, Camp Forlorn Hope, Ranger Station Alpha, Ranger Station Delta and Ranger Station Echo.

3. Travel to the NCR-occupied location and locate an NCR Veteran Ranger. These characters look like the character on the front of the "Fallout: New Vegas" game box.

4. Kill the NCR Veteran Ranger. After the character is dead, approach his body and press "R3" on the PS3, the "Right Stick" on the Xbox 360 or "Z" on the PC button to pick up the armor.

5. Press the appropriate button to bring up the Pip-Boy screen. Select the "Items" tab and then the "Apparel" option. Select the NCR Ranger combat armor as your character's apparel to equip the armor.
