How to Add an RSS Feed on Y-mail
With the Really Simple Syndication news feed system, you can subscribe to updates from your favorite blogs, websites or online news sites and view them in a news reader application, online news aggregator or Web-based email service, including Y-mail, which is officially known as Yahoo! Mail. To add an RSS feed to Yahoo! Mail, copy the news feed URL address from the source website and use the “Add Content” tool on Yahoo! Mail’s My Yahoo! Page.

Launch your Web browser and go to the site with the RSS news feed that you want to add to Yahoo! Mail. Most sites that syndicate RSS feeds publish the address on the relevant page or in a directory of feeds that you can access by clicking “RSS,” “Feeds” or “News Feeds” in the main navigation menu.

Navigate to the page or section with your preferred RSS news feed. Highlight and copy the feed address from the list of available feeds. Alternatively, right-click the orange-and-white RSS button, then select “Save Target As” or “Save Link As” from the context menu to copy the feed URL.

Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account. Click the “My Y!” link in the top right corner of the page to open the My Yahoo! page.

Click the “+ Content” button in the “My Main Tab” section at the top of the page. This opens a new Content pane across the top of the page.

Click the “Add RSS Feed” button. Paste the feed URL address into the input box, then click the blue “Add” button. Yahoo! adds the RSS feed content to the top of your My Yahoo! page. Click the yellow “I’m Done” button.

Tips & Warnings
Add as many feeds as you want by following the same procedure. Click the “My Y!” button in Yahoo! Mail each time you want to view an RSS news feed.
