The 2000LE Balboa is a controller which dictates all facets of a spa's operation from heat to jets, so any faults with this unit -- most commonly electrical -- should be fixed as soon as possible. Instructions

    • 1

      Turn off the power to the spa at the circuit breaker to allow you to check the wiring. You should also Flip the Balboa's service disconnect box's "On/Off" switch to the "Off" position.

      Inspect the wiring between the Balboa 2000LE and its service disconnect box. Replace all frayed or damaged wiring and secure loose connections back in the relevant sockets.

      Remove the outer casing of the Balboa 2000LE control box by using a screwdriver to unfasten the supporting screws. This will give you access to the fuses which may have blown.

      Inspect the control box for any blown fuses which may need to be replaced. The fuses are located as such: two on the left side of the board, one near the top right and a forth fuse near the bottom center of the board.
