How to Make Aloe Vera & Green Tea Masks
There are countless chemical-filled beauty products on the market aimed at giving you healthier looking skin. However, sometimes a more natural solution is a better approach. If you want healthier, firmer and clearer skin, there are a couple of time-tested, do-it-yourself remedies that claim to give you just that. Aloe vera and green tea are natural ingredients that help soothe and repair skin. Applying a mask with either of these solutions should help you see an improvement in your skin's appearance. Things You'll Need
- Non-soap cleanser
- 1/2 cup aloe vera gel
- 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon milk of magnesia
- Moisturizer
- 1 tablespoon green tea
- 2 tablespoons fine clay powder

Aloe Vera Mask

Combine the aloe vera gel, cornstarch and milk of magnesia in a bowl. Stir the ingredients until they become a paste.

Apply the paste to your skin in a thick layer. Let the mask sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse the mask away with warm water.
Green Tea Mask

Add one tablespoon of green tea to a small bowl.

Add two tablespoons of fine clay powder to the bowl. Stir the mixture as you add the powder. If the solution is too lumpy, add another tablespoon of green tea. Continue adding a small amount of green tea until the mixture is smooth.

Apply the mask to your face. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

Rinse the mask away with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
Apply moisturizer to your face after each mask to prevent it from over-drying.
