How to Keep Anybody From Spying on My Phone
Cell phones have become mobile offices. You use them to send emails, make phone calls and write text messages. It is easy enough for someone to spy on your cell phone communications by installing a software program that uploads your data to a password-protected website. If you don't want the details of your communications to be seen, you can take a few steps to prevent it.

1
Remove the battery of your phone or make sure to never leave it sitting around where someone else can get access to it. Most of the cell phone spy programs require that the user have physical access to the phone for one to two hours to install the program.

2
Turn your Bluetooth off when you are finished using it. Some spy programs do not require physical access to the phone, but can get in by accessing your Bluetooth connection.

3
Purchase and install an encryption program (see Resources). These applications add password protection to access your phone, which prevents the installation of spy programs. They also encrypt your text messages and phone calls, thus preventing would-be spies from being able to understand your communications. As of 2010, these programs cost between $60 to $75.
