Instructions

    • 1

Choose several colors of nail polish for your at-home nail salon. In addition to classic pinks and red, pick wilder colors like purple, blue, green, yellow and orange. Also select clear topcoat polishes, as well as glitter topcoat polishes.

    • 2

Designate a nail salon area in your party room. Set up two "beauty chairs" for the girls to have their nails done. Use a small folding table for manicures. Place a small pillow on the table covered in a white hand towel for each girl to rest her hands.

    • 3

Allow older girls to give each other manicures and pedicures, or designate one or two adults to assist younger girls. File each girl's nails using an emery board and apply cuticle oil to each nail bed. Rub hand lotion onto their hands and feet.

    • 4

Have each girl choose polish colors, topcoats and toe separators. Paint one girl's toes and another girl's hands and instruct them to switch "stations." When the polish has dried, let the girls apply tiny stickers to the top of each nail, if desired.

    • 5

Assemble goody bags that include a small bottle of nail polish and additional sticker sheets. Allow each guest to take home her own emery board and toe separators for future pedicures.
