How to Open Ports on a Verizon FiOS Router

Verizon has provided its customers with an easy-to-use interface for the configuration of both their VersaLink and Actiontec series of gateways. When needing to make network-related changes to your router, you can access this interface using any standard Web browser. If you are having difficulty connecting to the Internet with one of your programs, you must open all ports the program uses on your Verizon router. Set up a port-forwarding rule for your software from within your VersaLink or Actiontec user interface.
