1
Purchase fabric that is reminiscent of a pillowcase. A soft, cozy cotton or flannel with a night-themed print will look like an authentic pillow.
-
2
Cut the fabric into rectangular pieces that measure 7 by 10 inches.
-
-
3
Place each piece of fabric onto a flat work surface with the print side down. Fold up a hem on one of the long edges of the fabric, and hot glue it in place.
-
4
Flip the fabric print side up. Apply a thin line of hot glue to the other three edges of the fabric and fold the fabric in half lengthwise. Allow the glue to dry completely. Then turn the "pillowcase" right side out.
-
5
Print or hand write invitations on pieces of card stock that measure 3 by 4 inches. Include the date, time, address and RSVP information.
-
6
Insert the invitation card in the pillowcase. The invitations are now ready to be given out.

Tips & Warnings
If the invitations are going out to young children, include a checklist to help parents pack all the necessities for the night.
For a feminine touch, use lace to trim the inside hem of the open end.
Glue a tiny ribbon pull tab on the edge of the invitation card to make it easier to pull the invitation out of the pillowcase.
If the pillowcases are being mailed without an envelope, secure the address label and stamp to the outside of the case with hot glue.
