If you have ebooks saved on your computer's hard drive, you can move them to your Nook. With the ability to download ebooks directly to your device, as well as transferring them from your computer, you'll have plenty of reading material to keep you busy. Compatible file formats for your Nook include Microsoft Office, PDF and EPUB files.

Instructions

      Connect the Nook to your computer with the USB cable provided with the device. Your Nook appears on your desktop as a new drive. If it does not, click “Start,” then select “Computer.” You'll see the Nook drive in the Computer window.

      Double-click the “Nook” drive icon.

      Drag the ebooks you want to add to your device to the Nook drive.

    • 4

      Disconnect your Nook from the computer once all ebooks are finished uploading. The ebooks are now on your computer and the device.
