How to Unlink My Account From Verizon
Verizon Yahoo! is a feature of Verizon Broadband that allows you to link your Yahoo! account and gain access to mail, My Yahoo!, a search engine, built-in McAfee security, instant messaging and more from a central location. If you're no longer using Verizon Broadband services, you can unlink your Yahoo! account from Verizon and continue to use Yahoo! without Verizon.

Log in to Yahoo! using your Verizon Yahoo! ID.

Click “Member Center” located in the upper right corner of the page.

Click “My Account & Billing” from the Member Center page.

Click “Off” under Account Switching.
