Build a solid team in order to win the championship.

Rutgers and Princeton played the first intercollegiate football game on November 6, 1869. As the game developed and matured, it outgrew the Ivy League, becoming a nationwide phenomena. It was a brutal game in the beginning, with severe injuries, including death, sometimes occurring on the field. The National Collegiate Athletic Association began to closely monitor the game in 1910. Football became less violent while growing in popularity.

Sliders exist for academic prestige, campus lifestyle, coach experience, coach prestige, championship contender, athletic facilities, fan base, pro potential, program stability, program tradition and television exposure. If you like, you can scale all to the maximum. Choose your offense and defense styles. Roster is the final tab. You can either select team options like "cupcake," "air it out" or "ground attack" or build each player individually.
