How to Download Swype Text for EVO
On the EVO's keyboard, you tap each letter one at a time to input a word. Swype offers a keyboard for the EVO and other Android devices that allows you to drag your finger across the screen in a continuous motion to input a word. As of the date of publication, Swype is in beta and not available in the Android Market. You can register to beta test the Swype app.

Go to the Swype Beta for Android Web page and click "Register."

Enter the email address associated with your EVO, then enter a password.

Check the "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions" box.

Click "Submit." Swype will send you an email. Tap the link to download the app.

Open the email from Swype on your EVO. Tap the download link to download the app.
