How to Reset am IGT Bill Validator Slot Machine

The most common IGT slot machine is the S+ series. The only time the slot machine needs to be reset is when there is a large jackpot payout. Resetting the machine causes the chances of winning to reset to the default values. There are several Error Codes which may display, but most of them do not require a reset of the machine. Jackpot Reset Key

  Use the main door key to open the front slot machine door.

  Retrieve the Jackpot Reset Key from a plastic envelope stuck to the side of the cash box.

  Move to the right side of the slot machine and locate the key slot.
- 4
  
  Insert the key into the key slot and turn it one-quarter turn to the right. The slot machine will reset.

Tips & Warnings

The Jackpot Reset Key may be with the strapped with the main door key when you purchase the slot machine.
Do not turn the key to the right more than once. This can cause the machine to enter test mode. This is not harmful to the machine, but it will take a while before you can play the game again.
