How to Rotate an Image in Photoshop

Rotate an image in any direction using Adobe Photoshop, a popular graphics-editing program.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Start Photoshop and open the image to be rotated.

  2. Step 2

    Click Rotate from the Image menu and choose the degrees of rotation.

  3. Step 3

    To enter a specific number, select Free and type in the number. Click OK.

  4. Step 4

    Save the file under a different name, such as imagerotate.jpg.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are unsatisfied with the way the image looks, select Undo from the Edit menu to undo your changes.
